Character Bios:
Sharon Hext - Better known as Matthew’s mother, she’s a hardworking baker at a local doughnut shop, and a deacon at the family’s church. A loving mother, wife, and a generally likable person she’s a constant moral guiding force for Matthew and a soothing balm on his bad days.
Character Bios:
Walter Hext - Better known as Matthew’s father - he’s a Christian Rock Writer and also works part-time at a local overnight camp. While he’s had limited appearances in the comic thus far, mostly to make sure Matthew’s doing his schoolwork, rest assured he is a present and nurturing part of his childrens’ lives.
Character Bios:
Super - the cosmic entity that grants Silverage his fantastic powers. He hails from as yet unknown planet, or plane, or universe, or… wherever he’s from we can’t decipher. But he was cast out of his home by his equal and opposite ‘brother’, and weakened by the journey sought refuge in a host body. And thus Silverage was born.
Strengths: The amalgam of all the positive and good traits of a medieval warrior like race so advanced they seem like magic, grants magical powers, far more mellow than Matthew
Weaknesses: Cannot control the body he’s inhabiting (usually), having a harder time adapting to the human body than he anticipated, trying to get used to the sensation of walking still and it’s been like 5 months.
Character Bios:
Matthew Hext - One half of the titular of the Silverage tag team. He’s by all accounts a taller than average, but normal, 14 year old boy, acne, budding crushes, a poor choice in wardrobe. He’s very into acting and singing, and heavily disinterested in drawing and any contact sports. However his vast knowledge of comics, comic books, and ability to think on his feet made him a thankfully receptive participant in creating Silverage.
Strengths: Amazing swimmer, Good actor, decent singer, charismatic (for a 14 year old), One Tall Boy, Gay, Cares about deodorant
Weaknesses: Bad artist, weak student, low critical thinking skills, bad diet, doesn’t *know* he’s Gay so it’s a whole big thing, very anxious boy
Character Bios:
Silverage! The Superhero from the Smallest State! To the outside world he’s a slightly baffling mix of hyper capable and just unendingly clumsy, if he’s not taking down flying robots or giant roaming monsters he’s tripping over his capes and getting shot by like… regular muggers.
To us, we know him as the symbiotic creation of Matthew Hext and a cosmic energy alien named ‘Super’ (or that’s the nearest we can understand) - his clumsiness is derived from his human half, and his energy powers and various other assorted abilities stem from the alien inside him.
Strengths: Plasma absorption and redistribution, Super Strength, Super Reaction Time, Enhanced Durability, Enhanced Healing, Genuinely Invested in being a Good Person
Weaknesses: Must adapt before he’s immune to a new kind of attack, still can’t fly, still not fully bullet proof, still a 14 year old boy at heart
